Gov. Blunt Accepts Resignation of Judge Stephen Limbaugh

JEFFERSON CITY-Gov. Matt Blunt today issued the following statement on receiving Judge Stephen Limbaugh's resignation letter effective July 31, 2008:           "Today I received and accepted the resignation of Judge Stephen Limbaugh who is leaving the Missouri Supreme Court having been confirmed to serve on the federal bench.            "I commend Judge Limbaugh for his service to our state.  Not only is he an exceptional jurist, he is also a man of tremendous character.  Judge Limbaugh is highly respected and will make an outstanding addition to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri." -- http://www.bransonedge.com http://www.bransonmissouri.blogspot.com
