Peter Herschend Elected Vice-President of Missouri Board of Education

Peter Herschend of Branson was elected vice president of the Missouri Board of Education Thursday for the year beginning July 1, a department spokesperson said in a news release. Herschend, founder and co-owner of Herschend Family Entertainment Corp., has been a member of the board since 1991. David Liechti, St. Joseph, who is currently serving as vice president, was elected president.
